There are beautiful church buildings in every nook and corner of Lamka town. Besides, we can also see many beautiful church buildings in the surrounding villages of the town of Lamka, and even in the far flung and remote villages of Churachandpur and Pherzawl district. No doubt, church buildings are very good and beautiful everywhere. But all the streets/roads excepting the main road i.e.Teddim Road and Tipaimuk Road are some what good, whereas the rest are all bad and dusty, either in the villages or in the town of Lamka.
All other streets/ roads are very very bad and dusty.There is no proper drainage system in the town of Lamka.There is no good health care systems in the town of Lamka, and in the block head quarters/ sub divisional head quarters, and the villages.There is no proper supply of pure drinking water in the town of Lamka despite the fact that, millions of gallons of water in the khuga dam, and also in the many villages of Churachandpur and Pherzawl district, even though there are perennial sources of water.This is the state of affairs in our GOD given land.
Imagine, why all these basic needs are not properly available to every houses in the town of Lamka, and in the villages when there can be very beautiful church buildings everywhere in the town of Lamka, and even in the far flung and remote villages? Why? Do you know? One of the main reason being corruptions and corrupt practices, bribe giving and bribe taking in the government, including in the society and community and the churches.
The second reason being un-righteousness everywhere, i.e. in the government departments, in the CSOs, in the NGOs, in the society and community including the churches, and particularly in our families.
This happened because the vast majority of professed Christians in both the district of Churachandpur and Pherzawl didn’t fear GOD ALMIGHTY. Disobeyed GOD. This happened because the vast majority of professed Christians in both the district of Churachandpur and Pherzawl were swept away by the love of money and greediness. Nothing else. We were all completely sunk deep into the ocean of greediness and love of money. This is fact that we can’t deny.
Can a true and born again Christian continue to smoke cigarettes, ganja, mizo zial, biri, hooka, kani, heroin no.4, marijuana, brown sugar? Can a true and born again Christian continue to chew pan/kuva, talap, zarda, khaini, dummuon, tuibu, shikhar, WY tablet? Can a true and born again Christian continue to drink zu/alcohol/wine/ beer? Can a true and born again Christian continue to have illegal sexual intercourse, masturbation, homosexual activities, lesbian activities, sex with animals? Can a true and born again Christian continue to play lagau, gambling etc? Can a true and born again Christian continue to do fraud, corruption and corrupt practices, bribe giving and bribe taking in the work places? Can a true and born again Christian continue to be arrogant, proud/ego and pride? Can a true and born again Christian continue to kill, murder, suicide, rape, steal? Can a true and born again Christian continue to gossip, blasphemy, hatred? Can a true and born again Christians continue to deceive, lie, rivile, slander? Can a true and born again Christians continue to cultivate illegal poppy plants? The is not exhaustive.The list can go on and on and on.
Imagine, how can a true and born again Christian sell zu/liquor, talap, dummuon, khaini, cigarettes, ganja, shikhar, pan/ kuva, drug and narcotics substances etc etc.? Whereas, they claimed to be true and born again Christians and attend Sunday church worship service! Surprise and absurd. Is not it? The Holy Scriptures tells us very very clear. “Therefore, if anyone is in CHRIST, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.. ” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Here, in our Lamka town, and its surrounding villages, including the far away and remote villages, we can clearly see majority professed Christians belonging to different church denominations selling all kinds of things prohibited by the Word of GOD, the Bible. Is this how a true and born again Christians should do? Is this how a true and born again Christian should behave? No, not at all. The Word of GOD says, “…You must be holy because I Am Holy.” (1Peter 1:15-16). Amen.
Therefore, let us humble ourselves by truly repenting from our sins and seek forgiveness of our sins and come to the LORD JESUS CHRIST for complete spiritual and physical transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit of ALMIGHTY GOD. Amen.
